For the fall semester, I was awarded Volunteer Copy Editor of the Month for the Ball State Daily News for the work I did in proofreading news stories, asking questions regarding the editing process using the AP style, and informing my mentor when I couldn't attend to volunteering on certain days, even though I knew I didn't have to tell him and to just come in whenever I can.
